Delicious Protein Monster Balls

I love having healthy treats around when a sweet craving hits or if I need an on-the-go healthy snack. The bonus with these little treats is that my family loves them too! These are also great to pack along while you travel for a quick pick me up instead of heading to the vending machine or for a fast-food fix!



Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats

- 3 Tablespoons ground flax seed

- 1 Tablespoon Chia seeds

- Pinch of salt

- 1/2 cup vanilla protein (I like Shakeology)

- 3/4 cups natural creamy peanut butter (pro tip: heat the peanut butter up in the microwave to make it easier mix in.)

- 1/4 cup honey

- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- 1/2 cup m & ms

- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips



Directions:

Add all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Once all of the ingredients are mixed well, use a small scoop to roll one-inch balls.


These balls will keep about one week in the refrigerator, or you can freeze them in the freezer up to three months.


Pro tip: I like to double the batch and then put half in the fridge and half in the freezer.
