Mornings can be the absolute craziest time of the day. Having breakfast prepped and ready to go can make the entire day go smoother, plus you'll be fueling your body well! This recipe includes a great balance of healthy carbs (oats and apples), fat (peanut butter), and protein powder (protein).

I hope this recipe blesses you and your family during this busy time of year! Enjoy!

  • ½ cup dried oats

  • 1 cup milk (or dairy alternative)

  • 1 small diced apple or ½ large apple diced

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or other nut butter)

  • 1 Mason Jar

  • Using a mason jar (or your favorite airtight container) add all of the ingredients. Cover and shake well. Place in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours or overnight.

  • When ready to eat, you can eat it cold or warm it up in the microwave for 45 to 60 seconds.

  • Top with your favorite toppings.

Pro tips:

  • If you’re looking to add more protein, add your favorite protein powder when you mix in the other ingredients.

  • To add more fiber, add in 1 tablespoons of chia seeds.

  • Great toppings include: a dash of cinnamon, brown sugar, or for a crunch sliced almonds.

  • Make multiples for the week ahead! Overnight oats can be stored in an airtight container for up to five days in the refrigerator.
